The Heidenau wheel ends are manufactured by Refonifenwerk Heidenau in its historic factory, located on the outskirts of the German city of Dresden. The gum mixture was developed by the manufacturer’s chemists. Based on natural rubber, it provides better sealing and gives a longer life to the rim bases than the butyl equivalents generally found.
These rim bases are the complement to Heidenau inner tubes to get the best out of your tyres when you mount them on spoked rims that are not waterproof.

Designed for sidecars used mainly on the road, the Heidenau K28 have a square profile to optimize ground contact area and thus improve cornering grip and reduce braking distances. The design of the sculptures combines continuous central bands and pavé to combine steering precision and optimal evacuation of water from the surface in contact with the ground.

The Heidenau chambers are different from the models commonly found by using natural rubber instead of butyl. They are therefore more resistant and less porous, which allows you to go on an adventure with complete serenity.
The standard models have an average thickness of 2 mm. For those who wish to embark on particularly demanding journeys, we recommend adopting for reinforced models with a thickness of up to 3 mm.

Mitas H-02 Superside tires are an economical alternative to the Heidenau K28 sidecar tyres. Directly derived from the H-02 motorcycle tires, it adopts the typical symmetrical style of neo-retro tires and a reinforced carcass on the sides intended to withstand the constraints specific to coupled motorcycles.
The design of the sculptures makes it a tire primarily intended for road use. The Mitas H-02 are Tube Type (TT) tyres and therefore involve the use of an air chamber.
