Heidenau rim strips are manufactured by Refonifenwerk Heidenau in its historic factory on the outskirts of the German city of Dresden. The rubber compound was developed by the manufacturer's chemists. Made from natural rubber, it provides better sealing and gives the rim strips greater durability than the butyl-based equivalents commonly found on the market.
